Whether you’re currently racing, returning after time away, or simply ready to get a bit more serious, this package gives you the tools, direction, and support to keep improving without losing the joy of the sport.

This isn’t elite-level intensity, but it is purposeful coaching for athletes who want to train smarter, stay accountable, and see meaningful progress.

What You Can Expect from Me

Structured, purposeful training

Every session has a reason behind it. You’ll receive a clear, personalised plan built around your goals, experience level, and available time. Nothing copy-and-paste, everything rooted in good coaching practice.

Consistent guidance

You’ll get regular feedback and support, enough to keep you progressing and informed without being overwhelming. I’ll help you understand what the numbers mean, how to use your tools effectively, and how to train with intention.

Accountability without pressure

I’ll help you stay on track, navigate busy weeks, and build consistency, but without the intensity or demands of high-performance coaching. It’s a supportive environment, not a high-stakes one.

Adaptability when life gets busy

Training won’t always go perfectly. Work, family, stress, and setbacks happen. I’ll make reasonable adjustments when you need them so the plan fits your reality, not the other way around.

A developmental mindset

You’ll learn as you go, what works for you, how your body responds, and how to build sustainable habits. This is as much about education as it is about progression.

What I Expect from You

Engagement with the process

You don’t need to be perfect, but showing up really matters. Log your sessions, share comments, and lean into the structure.

Honest communication

Tell me how training feels, the good, the bad, and the confusing. The more I understand, the better I can guide.

Willingness to learn

If you’re using heart rate, power, or GPS tools, I’ll help you understand them, all I ask is curiosity and openness to improving your training literacy.

Respect for balance

You’re probably juggling a lot. That’s normal. We’ll train with purpose, but we’ll also make space for recovery, perspective, and life outside sport - because to keep motivation you’ll need to stay healthy and happy at the roots.

Commitment to steady progress

This plan works best when you’re ready to take your training a step further, not all at once, but consistently over time. Your physiology doesn’t change overnight - it’s chipped away at, until progress is felt as well as seen.

How We’ll Work Together: In Practice

  • Training Peaks planning: You’ll receive structured, easy-to-follow sessions delivered through Training Peaks. Don’t worry if this is all new - we’ll get you up to speed, but it gives us a platform to track your progress.

  • Weekly feedback: I’ll review key sessions and give you targeted feedback to help guide your week and maintain momentum.

  • Data-informed coaching: We’ll use the training tools you have available (HR, power, pace, etc.) to track progress - not obsess over numbers but use them wisely.

  • Progress check-ins: We’ll periodically review your goals, discuss what’s working, and adjust the plan as needed.

  • Realistic adaptability: If your week goes off-script, I’ll help you reset and keep things moving in the right direction.
