Meet the Team for 2026

  • Harrison Hunter

Founder · Original Fred · Multidisciplinary Racer

Harrison is the engine behind Fred’s Club and the first rider to pull on a Fred’s Racing kit. A former competitive rower turned all-terrain endurance magpie, he now splits his time between the track, the road, gravel, and whatever wild adventure his friends manage to rope him into next.

Chasing a national track medal is the current mission, ambitious, maybe, but luck favours the bold. When he’s not training, you’ll find him keeping the Fred’s community rolling, dreaming up new challenges, and saying “yes” to just about anything involving two wheels and a bit of chaos.

“I’ve raced as a privateer for the past few seasons, which has its perks, choosing my own calendar, chasing the events that excite me, but something’s always been missing. I realised it was the community. I miss turning up to races with mates, sharing the chaos, and watching friends absolutely smash it. That’s why Fred’s is the perfect fit for me this year. It’s a team with good vibes, zero ego’s, and a genuine love for the sport. I’m buzzing to pull on the kit, rep the crew, and get stuck into a season that’s all about racing hard and having fun doing it.”

  • Laura kirkpatrick

Adventure Chaser · Storyteller · Gravel Explorer

Laura Kirkpatrick, better known as Lauradoessports, is the career-break legend who seems to spend more time cruising the world than standing still, always with a camera in hand and top-tier content to show for it.

She’s joining Fred’s Racing to bring some adventure flare, a heap of gravel exploration, and a cinematic edit trailing behind every ride. Laura adds a whole new dimension to the team, the kind that makes you immediately ask, “So… when’s your next trip and can I come?”

We’re stoked to have her. This year’s crew is stacked, and Laura fits right in.

  • Joe Vanstone

Steezy Skier · Cornish KOM Hunter · Off-Road Racer in the Making

Joe joins Fred’s Racing with enough style to make any ski season proud. A steeziest-on-the-mountain skier turned full-time Cornish KOM hunter, he’s brought that same fearless flow into cycling.

With a sharp attitude and a growing appetite for all things off-road, Joe’s lining up for a year of dirt, chaos and big moves. Keep an eye on him, he’s only just getting started.

“‘You won’t catch me in Lycra’- As it turns out, that statement didn’t age well. For me, cycling very quickly went from a way to maintain some fitness and keep my knees intact between winters in the mountains to much more than that. As I’m sure happens to many, riding around enjoying the scenery became trying to go faster which became training and things snowballed from there. Bike-packing, a charity ride to Switzerland, fondos, gravel events, racing was inevitable. Then came Fred’s, the perfect place to have some fun, have a rip and a laugh, I can’t wait.”

  • Henry Harris

    Skipper · Sailor-Turned-Triathlete · Unshakeable Competitor

Henry Harris, skipper, Fred’s-coached sailor turned triathlete, and easily the calmest head you’ll find on any start line. He brings a rock-steady pace and an even steadier focus… though yes, we’re working hard on turning that steady into speedy.

A challenge never scares him off; if anything, it sharpens him. Committed to the core, Henry will be hitting both roads and trails this season, ready to give a few full-timers a proper fright.

  • Sienna Chapman

Style Icon · White Shoe & Sock Menace · Future Crit Disruptor

Sienna Chapman, fuelled by enough Origin coffee to open a second café, and somehow still keeping her white shoes cleaner than the rest of us manage on the turbo. She might head up to London now and again, but she’s grounded in Cornish back-lanes, gravel, and pure Falmouth style.

This is her first year of racing, and it’s already looking lively. She’s been dropping us on social rides for fun, so the local crit scene genuinely has no idea what’s about to hit it. When Sienna turns up, pristine shoes and all, expect chaos in the best way.

“I think I’ve always liked cycling in a non-competitive way. I grew up cycling to school, and at weekends my best mate and I would disappear on our bikes for hours, just exploring.

In 2024, I cycled from Liverpool to Verbier in Switzerland on a charity ride in memory of a friend. It was roughly 1,350 km in just eight days, about 180 to 200 km a day. It was the first thing I’d ever properly trained for, and I spent a year dedicating my spare time to it. I think it made me fall in love with cycling again.

I love getting back from work and heading out to explore on the bike on summer evenings, or spending my weekends cycling to good coffee and pastries. I find the competitive side a bit off-putting when it comes to racing others, but I’m very competitive with myself. I’m wondering where this Fred’s thing will take me, and whether I’m just a coffee-ride cyclist. Either way, I’m here for the fun”.

  • Ollie Bush

Cornish Gravel King · Banana-Fuelled Bandit · Rogue Racer in the Making

Ollie Bush, the undisputed Cornish gravel king who cannot, under any circumstances, leave the house without two bananas in his back pocket… even if he never actually eats them. A near-guaranteed bout of cramp follows him wherever he goes, but don’t be fooled, Bush takes things seriously from the gun.

He races everyone on the social rides anyway, so it only felt right to throw him into some proper races this year.

How will he go? Honestly, your guess is as good as ours. He’s a rough diamond, a rogue hero, and pure entertainment from start to finish. One thing’s for certain, if you spot a ride labelled gravel on Strava and it’s under 30kph, it’s probably Bush.

“I’ve always enjoyed training, staying fit, and giving myself something to aim at. I’m a big believer in just getting stuck in, whether that’s a hard session, a long ride, or a slightly questionable challenge that seemed like a good idea at the time.

I came to cycling a bit later, but once I did, that was it. Road, gravel, bike-packing, if there’s an element of adventure and a competitive edge, I’m in. I love the process of getting fitter, figuring things out, and seeing what happens when you commit to it.

Racing feels like the natural next step. No big expectations, no pressure, just turning up, having a crack, and learning as I go. Doing it alongside mates makes it even better. If it’s hard, a bit chaotic, and good fun, then I’m probably exactly where I want to be.”

  • Seb Clark

Audax Menace · Long-Distance Specialist · Comfortably Uncomfortable

Seb Clark is the rider who’s only getting started when everyone else is thinking about heading home. An audaxing badass with a mountain biking background, Seb thrives on long days, empty roads, and routes that stretch well beyond what feels sensible.

After an enduro racing background and an accident that forced a change of direction, he found his groove in adventure riding and audax. Since then, he’s become quietly relentless, oddly cheerful when things get hard, and far too comfortable being uncomfortable. Fuelled by well-timed coffee stops and whatever’s waiting at the next checkpoint, even full-blown Type 2 fun rarely keeps him down for long.

This year, Seb is taking Fred’s Racing further, longer routes, overnight epics, and point-to-points that make most riders ask “why?”. If the route looks unnecessary, overlong, or slightly unhinged, it’s probably Seb. And he’s probably enjoying it.

“I’ve been riding bikes properly since my teens, starting out on MTB like most do, with dirt jumps, then slowly moving into downhill. After realising I didn’t mind the uphill part so much, that turned into trail riding and enduro.

I was aiming to see if I could qualify for the EWS (Enduro World Series), but an accident stopped that in its tracks. A broken collarbone, broken ribs, and a collapsed lung will do that, it turns out. Not long after, the qualification system changed too.

During all of that, I started dabbling in long-distance riding. Land’s End to John o’ Groats sparked a real love for distance and seeing the world on two wheels.

Since then I’ve ridden from Barcelona to the start of the Tour de France, taken on The Woods Rat Run, and plenty of other multi-day adventures. There’s more to come, and this year’s no exception.”
